Virtuoso launches AI-powered collective intelligence capability

Virtuoso has announced a new strategic intelligence capability designed to connect data, systems and security across its global luxury travel network, turning its collective expertise and interconnected data into resources for business decision-making.

The initiative builds on decades of proprietary knowledge developed through Virtuoso’s advisors, member agencies, preferred partners, consumer insights and industry experience. The company said much of this knowledge has traditionally been spread across people, conversations and separate systems.

“What we’ve built is a foundational digital capability that is ever evolving with infinite possibilities,” said Virtuoso Chairman and CEO Matthew Upchurch. “It brings together the expertise, insights, data and relationships that exist within the Virtuoso community – our advisors, member agencies, preferred partners – and makes it easier to access, combine and act on. Collective knowledge has always been at the heart of how this network operates, grounded in a shared commitment to excellence and collaboration. This new capability will allow the network to access this collective intelligence in a greater way – and it allows us, in turn, to learn from how the network uses it, identify where the gaps are and build the solutions to close them.”

Rather than launching as a standalone product, the intelligence capability will serve as a foundation for future tools. These are expected to help member agencies, advisors and partners identify opportunities, make informed decisions and access network intelligence, while enabling Virtuoso teams to provide more targeted support.

“AI is at the core of how it works, but what we’re really talking about is Virtuoso collective intelligence, powered by AI,” added Virtuoso President Brad Bourland. “This new capability sits within a broader technology strategy Virtuoso has deliberately pursued: adding value to the platforms our members and partners already invest in, nurturing an ecosystem of solution providers who serve the network in ways no single company could replicate alone, and focusing Virtuoso’s own internal technology efforts on work that creates unique value only the network itself can produce.”

Upchurch said the technology is intended to support individuality across the network rather than create a uniform operating model.

“The future of this organisation is not a one-size-fits-all system that flattens the network into sameness. It is a foundation built to enhance each member’s and advisor’s own unique expression of themselves and their business, while also unlocking the collective advantage that comes when the entire network moves and delivers as one.”

Future development will combine Virtuoso’s proprietary insights with vetted external market, economic and behavioural data. The company said this will provide greater context and precision for understanding market conditions and opportunities. -TradeArabia News Service
