Kuwait Airways has launched direct flights to Tbilisi, Georgia, as part of its strategy to expand its destination network and provide passengers with more travel options.
The new service, which began on August 2, operates twice
weekly on Sundays and Tuesdays, supporting increased travel demand during the
holiday season.
Abdulwahab Al-Shatti, Kuwait Airways Acting Chief Executive
Officer, stated that the launch of direct flights to Tbilisi aligns with the
company's strategy to diversify its route network and meet the growing demand
for popular tourist destinations.
He emphasised Kuwait Airways' commitment to offering a
diverse range of travel options that cater to the requirements of different
customer segments while maintaining the highest standards of quality and
service.
Al-Shatti added that Tbilisi is a leading tourist
destination, renowned for its breathtaking natural beauty and rich historical
and cultural heritage, making it an ideal choice for travelers seeking
memorable holiday experiences.
He noted that the launch of direct flights will facilitate
travel and further strengthen air connectivity between the State of Kuwait and
the Republic of Georgia.
Al-Shatti explained that the launch also reflects Kuwait
Airways' commitment to providing an operational schedule that meets the needs
of travelers.
He emphasised that the company continues to explore
