Bahrain has reinforced its economic and investment partnerships with France and the Principality of Monaco following a high-level four-day mission led by Noor bint Ali Alkhulaif, Minister of Sustainable Development and Chief Executive of the Bahrain Economic Development Board (Bahrain EDB).
The visit, which featured a series of strategic meetings with government officials, investors, business leaders and economic partners, underscored Bahrain's commitment to expanding bilateral cooperation, attracting investment and supporting sustainable economic growth across key sectors.
In France, the Bahrain EDB delegation held discussions with strategic partners and business executives, while also participating in activities surrounding the 2026 Tour de France, one of the world's premier sporting events. Bahrain's pavilion at the event served as a platform to engage with international investors and senior corporate leaders.
In Monaco, the delegation met with Isabelle Berro-Amadeï, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation; Ludmilla Raconnat Le Goff, Chief Executive Officer of Invest Monaco; and senior representatives from the Department of Finance and Economy. The talks focused on strengthening economic relations, exploring new investment opportunities and identifying areas for closer collaboration.
The delegation also held working sessions with leading Monegasque companies in the tourism, hospitality and education sectors, and participated in a dedicated business forum attended by more than 20 companies. Discussions highlighted the complementary strengths of Bahrain and Monaco and explored ways to increase trade, investment and commercial partnerships.
The mission also highlighted the growing business relationship between the two markets, with the recent opening of APM Monaco's first flagship store in Bahrain cited as a significant milestone in expanding commercial ties.
Bahrain EDB said the visit formed part of its broader strategy to promote the Kingdom's competitive investment environment across priority international markets while fostering partnerships that drive innovation, investment and long-term economic growth. -TradeArabia News Service
