Three Chinese airlines have announced plans to buy a combined 95 Airbus aircraft worth about $17.8 billion at list prices, as carriers expand capacity and upgrade fleets.
Air China, Shenzhen Airlines and Hainan Airlines disclosed the agreements in filings with the Shanghai Stock Exchange.
Air China and
Shenzhen Airlines will acquire 55 aircraft valued at around $12.4 billion,
including 15 Airbus A350-900 widebody jets for Air China and 40 A320neo-family
aircraft for Shenzhen Airlines.
Hainan Airlines will purchase 40 A320neo-family aircraft in
a deal valued at up to $5.4 billion, with deliveries scheduled between 2028 and
