Drake & Scull lands MEP contract for Ritz-Carlton Residences Dubai

Drake & Scull International (DSI) has secured a contract worth AED52.8 million ($14.4 million) to provide key mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) services for The Ritz-Carlton Residences, a key development coming up in Business Bay, Dubai.

The contract has been awarded by the Khamas Group of Investment companies, a UAE-based real estate developer.

Strategically located along the Dubai Water Canal, the Ritz-Carlton Residences is a 48-key project.

An 18-storey waterfront development, the Ritz property introduces a new benchmark for branded luxury living along the Dubai Water Canal, said its developer Khamas Group.

The facade features vertical bronze louvers and finely crafted metal mesh balustrades that evoke transparent fabric, while diamond-patterned ceilings at the entrance canopy and terraces add layers of visual sophistication.

The building rises from a landscaped podium adorned with swimming pools and verdant gardens, establishing an urban oasis within the bustling financial district, it stated.

For this project, Paris-based designer Ana Moussinet, renowned for her work on luxury hospitality projects across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, has crafted interiors that embrace fluid forms and gentle curves throughout the Ritz branded residences.

The design philosophy centers on creating dynamic yet serene spaces where art becomes integral to daily living. Each residence showcases works in various media including sculpture, painting, photography, and bas-relief, transforming living spaces into private galleries.

The residences span from 5,603 to 12,936 sq ft, with each unit delivered fully furnished featuring oak flooring in living areas, chevron-patterned travertine in bathrooms, and custom-designed marble kitchens accented with bronze inlays.-TradeArabia News Service
