The Al Jabal Al Akhdar Festival 2026 in Oman’s A’Dakhiliyah Governorate is expected to boost tourism activity and support economic growth across the region, as preparations continue for the annual summer event.
The festival will run from July 15 until the end of August, showcasing the
natural and environmental attractions of Al Jabal Al Akhdar, a destination
widely recognised for its appeal to both domestic and regional visitors.
Regarded as one of the governorate’s key tourism seasons,
the festival builds on Al Jabal Al Akhdar’s growing reputation as a leading
leisure destination, supported by ongoing development and investment projects
aimed at enhancing its tourism offerings.
Authorities in A’Dakhiliyah Governorate, in coordination
with public and private sector partners, are finalising organisational and
operational preparations, including the readiness of venues, infrastructure,
and visitor services to ensure a comprehensive tourism experience throughout
