Roshn Group, Saudi Arabia's leading multi-asset class real estate developer powered by sovereign wealth fund PIF, has signed an agreement with Dawiyat Integrated Telecommunications & Information Technology Company, a wholly owned unit of Saudi Energy (SE), for the development of fibre-optic telecommunications infrastructure within its Aldanah community in Dhahran.
This agreement is part of the project’s ongoing efforts to enhance its digital infrastructure, and will be executed in two integrated phases, said Roshn in a statement.
In the first phase, Roshn Group will be responsible for the delivery of basic infrastructure works, including underground ducts, shafts, and pathways in accordance with the masterplan of Aldanah community, which extends across an area exceeding 1.7 million sq m.
In the second phase, Dawiyat Integrated Company will complete the infrastructure works through the installation and operation of a high-speed fibre-optic network, delivering an advanced connectivity experience that supports a modern digital lifestyle and elevates the quality of services within the community.
This partnership underscores a shared commitment by Roshn Group and Dawiyat Integrated company to developing smart, sustainable, and connected communities through the early integration of advanced digital infrastructure, supporting modern lifestyles, enhancing quality of life, and aligning with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.
This partnership also reinforces Dawiyat Integrated’s role as a key national enabler of digital infrastructure, reaffirming its commitment to delivering world‑class technological solutions that support the Kingdom’s digital transformation goals.
Aldanah is one of the kingdom’s integrated residential communities, distinguished by its strategic location in Dhahran and strong market demand, with total unit sales exceeding SAR1 billion ($266 million).
