‘Ramadan Nights’ offers creative activities across Dubai culture venues

Dubai Culture and Arts Authority (Dubai Culture) has unveiled its ‘Ramadan Nights’ programme, celebrating Emirati culture and the values, customs, and traditions of the holy month.

The initiative aims to strengthen community bonds and foster belonging, while supporting the ‘Ramadan in Dubai’ campaign under the Season of Wulfa, which highlights family connection and cultural heritage.

Through this programme, Dubai Culture reinforces the emirate’s identity as a global city promoting tolerance, coexistence, and respect for diverse cultures.

Activities will take place across key cultural and heritage venues.

At Al Safa Art & Design Library, visitors can enjoy workshops and interactive experiences, including free drawing sessions, a Ramadan Thoughts Wall, lantern decorating, treasure hunts, board games, and a traditional Ramadan majlis.

Evening activities include henna art, Arabic calligraphy, perfume-making, matcha preparation, live music, storytelling, choral performances, and a Creative Market supporting local artists and entrepreneurs.

Al Shindagha Museum will host heritage-inspired activations, including an iftar majlis with live cooking demonstrations by Emirati chefs, storytelling sessions, palm craft workshops, poetry evenings, and discussions on old Dubai’s social fabric.

Etihad Museum will screen Mountain Boy followed by a discussion with its creative team, while Al Jalila Cultural Centre for Children will offer workshops, Islamic arts activities, games, music sessions, and traditional foods in a family-friendly setting. -TradeArabia News Service
