The Saudi Fund for Development has announced the opening of a 9.87-km section of Kosovo's Pristina-M Mitrovica highway following its revamp. The SFD had provided a $16 million concessional loan to help complete the upgraded section, which is expected to benefit about 600,000 people.
Omani authorities said steady progress is being made on the Bilad Sur-Gas Roundabout project in South Al Sharqiyah Governorate, with more than 80% of the road dualisation work already completed. The first 11.4-km section of the project has already been opened to traffic.
Work has started on the new roads leading to Bahrain International Airport under the Phase 3A development project aimed at ensuring smooth traffic flow to the airport. The scope of work includes construction of a bridge on Khalifa Al Kabeer highway.
