Japan has instructed a national oil reserve storage site to prepare for a possible crude release after the Iran crisis disrupted Middle East supplies. Japan imports about 95 per cent of its crude from the region, much via the Strait of Hormuz.
Etihad Airways has announced it will fly its A380 to Narita, Tokyo for Summer 2026. The double-decker will begin operating between Zayed Abu Dhabi International (AUH) and Narita International (NRT) on 16th June 2026, in time for the busy summer travel season.
