Saudi airports completed preparations to receive pilgrims for the Hajj season of 2026 through an integrated plan to facilitate their journey from arrival until departure.
The Transport General Authority (TGA) launched two new bus routes linking Al-Khafji and Al-Ruqai border crossings with King Fahd International Airport and Qaisumah International Airport, serving travellers entering or returning from Saudi Arabia via Kuwait.
The General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) reported significant growth in Saudi Arabia's connectivity, with 103.1 million passengers travelling and 713,000 flight movements during the first nine months of 2025, reflecting increases of 9% and 5%, respectively.
