Mawarid Turbine Company and the National University of Science and Technology signed an agreement to train 321 Omani graduates—the first national cohort in specialised wind turbine manufacturing—preparing them for employment at Mawarid’s new factory in Duqm’s Special Economic Zone.
Oman's National University of Science and Technology has announced that work has begun on its new university campus at Sultan Haitham City located within the Muscat governorate. Spanning a 31,890-sq-m area, the key facility will have the capacity to accommodate 2,435 students.
