The Development and Investment Arm of Etihad Water and Electricity (EtihadWE) has signed an engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) agreement with NMDC Infra and Lantania Aguas for the Fujairah I Independent Water Producer (IWP) project.
NMDC Group, an integrated energy, marine services and EPC major, said one of its key subsidiaries, NMDC Infra, has signed a strategic agreement to acquire 51% stake in Spanish group Lantania Aguas, a specialist in desalination, water treatment and purification projects.
