Saudi-based East Pipes Integrated Company for Industry has announced that it has secured a contract worth SAR771 million ($203.3 million) from Saudi energy giant Aramco for the manufacture and supply of steel pipes for key projects in the kingdom.
East Pipes Integrated Company for Industry has announced that it had signed agreements with selected suppliers such as Saudi Liebherr and US-based Vaccuworx, a leading provider of vacuum lifting equipment for a number of industries, to acquire strategic material handling assets.
Saudi-based East Pipes has announced plans to set up a new external steel pipe coating line at its plant in Dammam following the go-ahead from the company's board. The move is aimed at boosting the plant's current nominal production capacity from 4 million sq m to 8 million sq m per year.
