Shell has completed its acquisition of Canadian energy company ARC Resources in a deal valued at approximately $16.5 billion, adding 370,000 barrels of oil equivalent per day and strengthening its upstream portfolio in Alberta and British Columbia.
Shell has agreed to acquire ARC Resources for $16.4 billion, strengthening its position in the Montney shale basin across British Columbia and Alberta, and expanding its presence in one of North America’s most prolific energy resource plays.
