MANAMA, 3 hours, 54 minutes ago
Bahrain is set to become the epicentre of the Formula 1 world in 2025, hosting both the Bahrain Grand Prix (April 10-13) and the F1 pre-season testing (February 26-28).
This dual event promises to deliver limitless experiences for motorsport fans from around the globe.
F1 Pre-season Testing
2025 will be the fifth consecutive year that Bahrain has been selected as the venue for F1 pre-season tests. This event, taking place in February, will bring together all 10 F1 teams as they prepare for the upcoming FIA Formula 1 World Championship. It will also be the first opportunity for fans to see the 2025 race cars in action before the season.
Bahrain Grand Prix: a racing spectacle
The Bahrain Grand Prix, a staple in the Formula 1 calendar, will once again light up the Bahrain International Circuit (BIC) from April 10. It was the first Formula 1 track in the Middle East, and it is known for its dramatic night race under the floodlights. The Grand Prix offers a blend of high-speed action and vibrant atmosphere. Fans can expect thrilling wheel-to-wheel battles, strategic pit stops, and the roar of the world’s fastest cars.
BIC Chief Executive Shaikh Salman bin Isa Al Khalifa commented: “After three consecutive years of sold out races, Formula 1 has never been so popular in Bahrain. We have witnessed huge growth from international motorsport enthusiasts coming to Bahrain for the racing spectacle, with 2024 representing a record year for travelling fans.
"We are already well underway for planning our 2025 race, where guests can expect a unique combination of spectacular racing and entertainment, with traditional Bahrain hospitality. We look forward to welcoming fans next year to The Home of Motorsport in the Middle East.”
