Rotana names new cluster GM for Erbil hotels

Rotana, a leading hotel management company in the Middle East and Africa, has appointed Ramy Haykal as the new cluster general manager of Erbil Rotana & Erbil Arjaan by Rotana,  located in the Kurdistan region.

Haykal began his career with InterContinental Hotels Group in 1996 as the finance director for Middle East and Africa. In his previous role as general manager of Crowne Plaza Beirut, Haykal played a pivotal role in driving the business and leading the operations. Prior to that, he was the cluster general manager for Crowne Plaza and Holiday Inn Downtown in Abu Dhabi.

A Lebanese veteran with over 20 years of experience in the international hotel industry including Kuwait, Abu Dhabi and Beirut, Haykal will bring a unique depth of experience to his new position.

As the new cluster general manager of Erbil Rotana and Erbil Arjaan by Rotana, Haykal will be the key leader overseeing the two hotels operation consisting of 369 rooms and suites, a Club Rotana floor for executive business travelers, seven food & beverage outlets, a health club and spa in addition to 14 fully equipped meetings and events venues.

With his solid expertise in the hospitality industry, Haykal aims to bring the hotel to successful heights by introducing new initiatives that will further intensify the hotel’s market reach to both regional and international while ensuring and maintaining the highest guest satisfaction and service. - TradeArabia News Service
