Oman Air is offering Indian expatriates from Kerala a 7 per cent discount in base airfares, a report said.

The announcement comes following an agreement with Norka-Roots, a department of the Government of Kerala formed to address grievances of non-resident Keralites, said a report in Oman Observer.

The offer can be availed of by NRI's from Kerala holding Norka identity cards as well as their families.

The scheme will be available in all Oman Air flights from India to any of its destination and vice-versa, the report said,

Oman Air currently operates six daily flights from Kerala – one from Thiruvananthapuram, two from Kochi and three from Calicut.
