Emaar Entertainment launches new kids summer camp

DUBAI, July 17, 2018

Emaar Entertainment is all set to make the summer break even more thrilling with a host of fun yet edutaining activities. Kids between the ages of 7-14 can have fun and be educated at KidZania, Dubai Ice Rink, Dubai Aquarium & Underwater Zoo, VR Park, Reel Cinemas and Burj Khalifa.

From learning the physics behind ice skating to going on a scavenger hunt at Underwater Zoo as well as learning how to handle a camera, this summer give your kids a meaningful and a fun experience!

From July 8 to August 16 and August 26 to 30 with a one-week Eid break, every day of the weekly Summer Camp delivers a new adventure and non-stop fun learning.

Sunday - KidZania
The first day of the week takes KidZ to the extraordinary mini-city of KidZania. This year kids will create their own resumes based on their interests and skills. They will then select a fun role play activity for the jobs listed in their resumes such as a fireman, doctor, journalist and many more and discover what these professions are all about.

Monday - Dubai Ice Rink
Kids will discover the fascinating world of science and physics behind ice skating as well as go behind the scenes to find out how Dubai Ice Rink is maintained. Kids will also be able to learn the foundations of ice skating and build their confidence with a special ‘Learn to Skate’ programme after which they can enjoy a free-skating session to practice their new-found skills and enjoy skating time with new friends! Additionally, kids will also be able to experience the latest way of both ice skating and cycling at the same time as special IceBykes sessions have also been organised.

Tuesday - Dubai Aquarium and Underwater Zoo
Children will uncover the mysteries of the ocean at Dubai Aquarium & Underwater Zoo, with a behind-the-scenes tour, and a look at the incredible conservation programme at Dubai Aquarium, aimed at preserving and strengthening the numbers of some of the world’s endangered species. They will also experience the Shark Week Exhibit – the world’s first interactive digital shark cage. Additionally, children will also get a chance to participate in a challenging scavenger hunt activity at Underwater Zoo.

Wednesday - Reel Cinemas
Inspiring young film enthusiasts, actors and movie-lovers alike, Wednesdays at Emaar Entertainment’s Summer Camp will see children learn how to handle a camera at the KidZania TV Studio before they get to relax and enjoy watching a movie at Reel Cinemas, and take part in a fun movie-based activity!

Thursday - Burj Khalifa and VR Park
The most elevating day of the programme, the week will culminate with a fascinating visit to At The Top, Burj Khalifa, where kids will discover captivating facts about the 828m tall structure - from design to construction - before visiting the VR Park in The Dubai Mall to enjoy a never before virtual reality experience.

The weekly Emaar Entertainment Summer Camps include a daily morning snack and a healthy lunch. Provided by the Mum Mum, the food offered to the children this year is very unique and special emphasis have been laid to make it interesting yet healthy. Each day offers a different menu giving children a variety of options. From healthy wholegrain and oatmeal muffins to grilled mixed vegetables, broccoli pastas along with fresh fruits and juices, kids surely can look forward to some mouth-watering treats during the weekly camp. Additionally, a certificate of completion, following a week of edutainment with new-found friends will also be provided.

Rhe camp will run from 8:30am to 3pm and will be priced at Dh950 ($258.6) per child per week which will include daily activities with professional and trained staff, a morning snack, lunch, certificate of completion. Parents bringing 2+ kids (both siblings) can pay Dh900 ($244.9) per child.
