Wasl's Dubai twin-hotel on track for 2018 launch

DUBAI, May 8, 2018

UAE-based wasl Asset Management Group said work was in full swing at its major hotel development, Hyatt Centric The Palm Dubai, with 69 per cent of the construction already completed and on track for launch by the year-end.

A major real estate development and management company, wasl Asset Management Group is surging ahead with the twin 15-storey hotel being developed in collaboration with an affiliate of Hyatt Hotels Corporation.

Ongoing construction at Hyatt Centric includes interior work on the guestrooms, corridors and public areas; external cladding work; and preliminary inspection approval.

Once complete, the hotel will boast 217 guest rooms, 116 serviced apartments and three F&B (food and beverage) outlets, as well as a state-of-the-art gym and spa, to Dubai’s hospitality and real estate sectors in preparation for Expo 2020.

CEO Hesham Al Qassim said: "In line with wasl’s emphasis on timely delivery, we are pleased to be making strong progress at Hyatt Centric The Palm Dubai. The hotel reflects our mission to support Dubai’s Tourism Vision 2020 and strengthen the city’s hospitality sector in the run-up to Expo 2020, when Dubai is expected to attract over 20 million visitors from across the world."

"This major global event demands exceptional levels of service and style, and we are proud to be setting a new benchmark by bringing the prestigious Hyatt Centric brand to Dubai for the first time," he noted.

"Hyatt Centric is located at the centre of The Palm – one of the world’s most iconic landmarks – keeping guests in the middle of the action and offering them beach access whilst also encouraging them to explore the city’s rich culture, heritage and tourist sites," explained Al Qassim.

"The strategic location will provide visitors with easy access to numerous of Dubai’s key attractions, shopping malls and several golf courses. Dubai International Airport is just half an hour away and the city’s business district and varied dining options are only a 10-15 minute drive from the hotel," he noted.

"Conceptualised with the modern-day and responsible traveller in mind, the hotel will offer the upscale and cosmopolitan experience that the ‘Hyatt Centric’ brand has become renowned for the world over, and has been designed to cater to all kinds of travellers and attract new visitors, supporting wasl’s mission to make Dubai the world’s favourite destination," he added.-TradeArabia News Service
