Qatar Airways to buy 50 Airbus planes

DOHA, December 7, 2017

Qatar Airways, the flat carrier of Qatar,  has unveiled plans to buy 50 Airbus 321 planes, a report said.

The news was revealed during a state visit by French President Emmanuel Macron, said a report in Money Control.

The contract, which includes an option for the Gulf carrier to buy another 30 planes, comes as the country is hit by a trade and diplomatic boycott by neighbouring countries in the region's worst political crisis in years, the report said.
