Symphony Style Hotel Kuwait was recently awarded the globally-recognised Green Key Certification for its contribution to preserving the earth’s resources through environmentally friendly and sustainable methods of operation.

At Symphony Style Hotel Kuwait we care about our guests and their experience, yet we also believe that it is our responsibility to look after and protect the environment,” said Peter Schuler, Symphony Style Hotel Kuwait general manager.

As part of this commitment to responsible business, the hotel has conducted various training for team members and implemented strategies designed to meet its goal and preserve the world’s natural resources.

Qourvus Collection’s Responsible Business Care, Create, Cultivate approach reflected in the actions taken throughout the year and translated into various environmentally-friendly actions applied across the hotel, starting from the addition of motion sensor water taps, to the implementation of a recycling programme and the usage of eco-friendly cleaning supplies, all the way through to converting all hotel lights to LED. These initiatives have resulted in a great reduction in water and electricity consumption recorded for September 2017. The sustainable initiatives are addition to the adoption of the Go Green Guest Programme, related to the changing of linen and towels in the guestrooms and sharing with guests some small actions they can adopt, which will help in conserving and protecting the environment.
