Passengers booking tickets on flydubai have been cautioned against making bookings via any application, confirming the existence of a dubious app that allows fliers to book their flights on the airline.

The airline took to Facebook last week to confirm that it "does not offer an official App to download in the Apple App Store or Google Play Store".

Commenting on the announcement, some also said that they have encountered a man calling and asking for credit card details using the name of flydubai.

"We are aware of an app that is available to download which allows users to book flydubai flights. We advise our customers to only book flydubai flights on our official website (www.flydubai.com), by calling our Customer Centre on (+971) 600 54 44 45, at a flydubai Travel Shop or through a Travel Partner," the airline said. - TradeArabia News Service
