DAE names new chief for Jordanian unit

DUBAI, September 26, 2017

Dubai Aerospace Enterprise (DAE) said it has appointed Jeff Wilkinson as the new chief executive officer of its subsidiary company, Jordan Aircraft Maintenance (Joramco).

Wilkinson was most recently chief executive of Etihad Airways Engineering based in Abu Dhabi, responsible for several core business functions including airframe and component maintenance services, supply chain management, design engineering, Camo (continuing airworthiness management organisation) besides line and light maintenance.

Prior to joining Etihad, Wilkinson played a key role as head of Base and Line Maintenance for Swiss International Airlines, and worked with multiple leading industry MRO (maintenance, repair and overhaul) firms.

Welcoming the appointment, Khalifa H. AlDaboos, the chairman of Joramco, said: "We are thrilled to be able to recruit someone of Wilkinson’s calibre to lead Joramco. Based in Amman, Joramco provides commercial aircraft MRO services to clients in Europe, Africa, Middle East and other parts of Asia."
