Copthorne Hotel Dubai appoints new sales director

DUBAI, August 14, 2017

Copthorne Hotel Dubai has appointed Noushad Abdulrahim as director of sales.

With 15 years experience in hospitality and a decade of that in Dubai – he brings his considerable expertise to the role.

Part of Millennium Hotels and Resorts, the popular hotel is located in Deira City Centre in Port Saeed. India-born Noushad will focus on improving sales production, expanding the corporate segment and further developing the sales and marketing strategy.

From his degree in hotel management at Kerala University to an entry-level trainee role at four-star Aquaserene Golden Tulip hotel in his native Kerala, Abdulrahim has worked his way up the ranks. His career includes stints in South India at Taj Garden Retreat, Kerala and Casa Anjuna, Goa, before moving to the UAE in 2007. In Dubai, his experience won him the role of duty manager at Flora Grand Hotel, Dubai and he stayed with the group for 10 years, graduating to sales in 2009 and, eventually, cluster assistant director of sales across four Flora Hospitality properties in 2016.

General manager Glenn Nobbs said: “We are pleased to welcome Noushad to Copthorne Hotel Dubai. With his years of experience in the city and positive attitude, we are sure that he will be a valuable leader for the Sales team.” - TradeArabia News Service
