A partnership between GTA Middle East and Geneva Tourism & Conventions Foundation has resulted in the successful promotion of over 50 Geneva hotels, a senior official of GTA has said.

The promotion provided the Middle East travel trade with exclusive offers and benefits, said Rami Mashini, GTA’s vice president of sales and marketing for Millde East, Africa and Turkey.

He said: “Through this partnership, Geneva hotels have already seen an increase in booking generated from GTA GCC since the start of the campaign collaboration in May with Geneva Tourism and Conventions Foundation.

"This is indicative of both the hard work of the GTA team and the understanding of the Middle East market by Geneva Tourism & Conventions Foundation. The exclusive offers, providing tempting benefits for our travel trade retail and wholesale partners, enticed them to help drive more GCC to the destination and we expect that success to continue even further.”

Included in the three-month agreement, a number of special offers were unveiled including exclusive discounted rates for Geneva hotels, with new promotions. In addition, travel bookers also triple their G Shop Points when booking hotels and city attractions until July 31.

 Launched in 2015 with more than 3,000+ users today, G Shop is a simple, easy-to-use bookers reward.

With direct daily flights from the GCC countries, average summer temperatures of 23 deg C, the high-quality hotels and a large choice of halal restaurants, luxury shops and boutiques, Geneva is already very popular for Middle East.
