Greenline Interiors wins $38m GCC hotel projects

DUBAI, June 19, 2017

UAE-based Greenline Interiors (GLI), a key provider of turnkey solutions to hospitality and residential sectors, said it has won Dh140 million ($38 million) worth of contracts for two key hotel projects in the GCC region, namely Wafi Hotel in Dubai (UAE) and Shaza Hotel in Riyadh (Saudi Arabia).

The projects will see GLI bringing its superior fit-out services to Riyadh and Dubai, where the company has also recently been awarded the Bay View Hotel and Jewel of the Creek projects.

The Wafi Hotel project will be completed in two phases, with Phase One featuring 475 hotel rooms and 97 apartments, and Phase Two boasting 26 suites, two ambassador suites and a royal suite (all without soft furnishing), as well as partial public areas.

The scope of work at Shaza Hotel in Riyadh includes the fit-out works for 205 rooms and partial public areas.

Samir Badro, the chairman and CEO, said: "We are pleased to have been awarded the Wafi Hotel and Shaza Hotel contracts as they give us new footholds at both home and abroad."

"Shaza Hotel will strengthen our GCC presence by bringing our expertise to Riyadh, while Wafi Hotel will allow us to contribute to Dubai’s thriving hospitality sector," he remarked.

"Our proven expertise in craftsmanship and high quality fit-out services has earned us a substantial and growing portfolio of hotel projects, and we are delighted to be adding to this," he added.-TradeArabia News Service
