The world's largest ship will make its debut in spring 2018 when Symphony of the Seas, the newest ship to join Royal Caribbean International's fleet, is delivered in April 2018.

The new ship will be the fourth in the Oasis Class and the 25th ship in the Royal Caribbean fleet.

Symphony of the Seas will set sail in 2018 and spend her inaugural summer season exploring the awe-inspiring destinations of the Mediterranean calling on ports in Barcelona, and Palma de Mallorca, Spain; Provence, France; Florence/Pisa, Rome and Naples, Italy.
 
Offering 28 more staterooms than her newest sister ship Harmony of the Seas and encompassing 230,000 gross registered tonnes, Symphony of the Seas promises to be the most adventure filled - cruise ship.

With a total of 18 decks and 24 guest elevators, the ship will be able to carry 6,780 passengers and 2,175 international crew. Touting new features and amenities for guests, she also will boast all the groundbreaking innovations and thrilling experiences that have garnered world-wide recognition for Harmony of the Seas such as Bionic Bar robot bartenders powered by Makr Shakr, Broadway-calibre entertainment, the iconic waterfront AquaTheater, the Perfect Storm trio of waterslides, and Ultimate Abyss – the tallest slide at sea.

Guests will find the award-winning and acclaimed favourites such as seven-neighbourhood concept that includes Central Park, Boardwalk, Royal Promenade, Vitality at Sea Spa and Fitness Centre, Entertainment Place, Pool and Sports Zone and the Youth Zone. Additionally, there are also 20 imaginative and sophisticated dining options, including Royal Caribbean’s signatures venues Chops Grille, Café Promenade, Vitality Café and Solarium Bistro.

Symphony of the Seas will spend her inaugural season, which starts on April 21, offering seven-night itineraries from Barcelona to Palma de Mallorca, Spain; Provence, France; Florence/Pisa, Rome and Naples/Capri, Italy, where travellers can discover the breathtaking views from atop Barcelona’s La Sagrada Familia Cathedral, and revel in the artwork of the old masters housed within the museums of Florence. In November 2018, after her inaugural season, Symphony of the Seas will make her transatlantic crossing to Miami’s new state-of-the-art Terminal A, dubbed the ‘Crown of Miami’, to begin seven-night Eastern and Western Caribbean itineraries.  

The global cruise line also will introduce a brand new port-of-call for the 2018 summer season, Holyhead on the Isle of Anglesey, Wales, where the combination of peaks, lakes and waterfalls will capture guests’ adventurous spirit. - TradeArabia News Service
