Market Kitchen, the culinary hotspot located in Le Royal Méridien Abu Dhabi, invites guests to experience its new, exclusive and highly interactive culinary masterclasses, “Market To Kitchen”.
 
From start to finish, the ‘Market to Kitchen’ concept takes food enthusiasts on a gastronomical journey around the capital with cuisine inspired by globally renowned Michelin-starred chef and restaurateur Jean-Georges Vongerichten.

The experience begins in Market Kitchen’s dining room where attendees can fuel up on complimentary hot beverages and pastries before heading out to explore the capital’s food markets. The first stop is the Abu Dhabi’s Fish Market, where chef Grand Ballinger will share tips on how to select the freshest catch of the day, followed by a trip to the Fruit and Vegetable Market for a lesson on the seasonality of the produce.

Once all of the key ingredients have been purchased, guests return to the hotel to discuss their findings with chef Grant who then prepares a bespoke meal for the group. Before indulging in the creations of their ‘Market to Kitchen’ adventure, the final element of the master class is a cocktail mixology lesson session with the talented bar associates.
 
To help launch this initiative, the hotel recently hosted a group of regional influencers and socialites who experienced an exclusive immersion into Le Méridien’s brand through key activities such as the pétanque game in collaboration with French cultural organization, Alliance Francaise Abu Dhabi, delicious cuisine, Sparkling and illy coffee tasting and Market to Kitchen exclusive cooking master class. - TradeArabia News Service
