New engineering head for Khalidiya Palace Rayhaan by Rotana

Khalidiya Palace Rayhaan by Rotana in Abu Dhabi, UAE, has appointed Murugan Loganathan as the new director of engineering.
Loganathan is a professional in Electrical, HVAC and Plumbing with more than 20 years of experience in design, development and maintenance of hotel engineering equipment. His expertise varies from leading, motivating, ensuring zero defect of engineering equipment to effective project management for hotel related works.
Loganathan is a great asset to this 443-room resort, with his wide knowledge of installation, testing and commissioning, maintenance operations and crisis management, implementation of servicing schedules for all the engineering and maintenance. In addition, he is passionate about sustainability and bringing innovation, as energy conservation – inductive load compensation, reduction in inductive load, conversion to LED’S, motion sensors and control on water consumption into the hotels daily operations, the hotel said.
Prior to his new appointment, Loganathan managed several pre openings for hotels in Dubai and India. He was also responsible for the engineering operations as an assistant director of engineering in Beach Rotana, Abu Dhabi.
