The Oberoi, Al Zorah, an upcoming five-star hotel in Ajman, UAE, has welcomed Burkhard Wolter as the property's new general manager.

Set to open in the last quarter of 2016, The Oberoi, Al Zorah is a luxury eco-destination with a beautiful long beachfront, azure lagoons and lush mangroves. The property occupies a prime location directly on the beach within Al Zorah, a unique and refined coastal destination developed by Solidere International in partnership with the Government of Ajman.

A veteran in the hospitality industry with over two decades of experience, Wolter is no stranger to the Middle East having worked in the region with the Shangri-La, Kempinski, Le Meridien and the Four Seasons over the last eight years. He brings significant experience in the launch and pre-opening of hotels and has managed large and diverse workforces through his career.    

In his new role, Wolter will manage The Oberoi, Al Zorah, part of the luxury Oberoi brand.
