Park Regis Kris Kin Dubai joins march for Down Syndrome

DUBAI, April 13, 2016

Volunteers from Park Regis Kris Kin Hotel, Dubai joined the World Down Syndrome Day walk that took place last month.

Organised by All 4 Down Syndrome, the highly successful initiative saw people from all walks of life coming together to raise awareness about the disorder.
 
“We were delighted to support the campaign that was aimed at raising awareness about how people with Down Syndrome have special abilities and can live and participate in the community,” said Scott Butcher, general manager, Park Regis Kris Kin Hotel Dubai. “Awareness and acceptance of the condition is important and it is here that initiatives like these contribute massively in creating an inclusive society.
 
Down Syndrome is the most common genetic disorder and affects one in every 450 children in the region. The event which started at 4.30 pm at Zabeel Park, Dubai, attracted excellent response from volunteers, residents as well as people with Down Syndrome and their families. - TradeArabia News Service
