Emirates stand draws the crowds at ITB Berlin
DUBAI, March 14, 2016
Emirates‘ triple-deck Infinite Possibilities Stand delighted visitors to this year’s ITB trade show in Berlin, as the airline’s teams welcomed more than 15,000 guests during the five-day event.
The new stand provided an opportunity to see first-hand some of Emirates‘ iconic onboard features. The airline‘s signature First Class Shower Spa unit - equipped with a working shower and underfloor heating - and the ever-popular Emirates A380 Onboard Lounge were among the attractions and activities which captivated more than 8,500 visitors to the ground floor of the stand between March 9 and 13.
More than 300 visitors a day were wowed by a virtual tour of the training grounds at The Emirates Arsenal Stadium with a chance to ‘meet’ Ex-Arsenal player Raymond Parlour or a get glimpse of the First Class Lounge in which an experienced Emirates chef prepared their virtual gourmet meal.
Crowds gathered to see and try Emirates‘ brand new Boeing 777 Business Class seat, being showcased for the very first time at ITB. The newly enhanced seat features additional amenities like a conveniently located mini-bar and the latest touchscreen controller, allowing the seat to be electrically converted into a comfortable, flat sleeping position. The fully-functioning seat also has one of the industry’s largest personal TV screens at 23 inches, offering high quality viewing experience with Emirates‘ award-winning ice inflight entertainment.
During ITB, more than 430 meetings took place in the meeting rooms on the second floor of the stand, underlining the importance of contact with trade partners, customers and industry stakeholders. Guests experienced Emirates' hospitality and fine dining in the hospitality areas while sharing ideas and best practice.
Throughout the last two decades, Emirates has continuously reinforced its commitment to the ITB Berlin trade fair, as well as the German market. Emirates offers 10 daily connections from four gateway cities to Dubai, three of which are serviced by an Emirates A380 – Munich, Frankfurt and Dusseldorf. - TradeArabia News Service
