IHG’s Crowne Plaza Abu Dhabi Yas Island and Staybridge Suites Yas Island has appointed Rami Serhal as their new cluster general manager.

Promoted from his previous position as hotel manager at Crowne Plaza Abu Dhabi Yas Island, Serhal brings with him 15 years of experience. After graduating from the American University of Beirut, he joined IHG’s flagship property in Beirut; the Intercontinental Phoenicia as assistant front office manager. Eight years later he moved to Intercontinental Abu Dhabi as front office manager and from there moved to Crowne Plaza Abu Dhabi Yas Island where he was promoted twice and was the hotel manager for four years.

Rami has contributed into the different successes through the past four years at Crowne Plaza Abu Dhabi Yas Island and played a vital role in the renovation of several areas at the hotel. He had also championed successes of the hotel winning “Ten Club” for two consecutive years.

“I am very excited about my new role as general manager for our properties at Yas Island.
