Travel agents win prizes in TTN contest

DUBAI, May 13, 2015

The recently-concluded TTN Travel Agents Competition saw travel agents walk away with the latest electronic gadgets, flight tickets and opulent hotel stays.

Travel agents from around the world participated at the agents-only competition at Arabian Travel Market, organised and sponsored every year by TTN.

Warren Kentridge, Travelclick director of sales, won a luxury six-night couple’s breakaway, courtesy South African Tourism Promotion Board, including two nights at the luxurious Executive Suites in Sandton, four nights at the One & Only Cape Town and two tours in Cape Town.

Maria Liza Jose, hospitality specialist, LinenCraft in Dubai, won an iPod courtesy of Travelport. South African Tourism Promotion Board and Travelport also gave more prizes away in raffle draws.  

Monalisa Aman, sales and marketing manager, Globetrotters Travel and Tours Uganda, won a three-nights’ stay for two at Baros Maldives on a bed and breakfast basis with transfers to and from the airport.

Siddharth Jain, managing director, Terra Travels New Delhi, won one economy Dubai – Zurich – Dubai ticket with Swiss International Airlines and two nights in a double deluxe room with mountain view for two including breakfast and access to the spa at Kempinski Grand Hotel des Bains – St Mortiz.

Presentologist John Quinn from Satellite Visual Communication was the moderator of the competition and provided the equipment for the quiz.  - TradeArabia News Service
