Al Bustan Centre to showcase renovated property

DUBAI, April 16, 2015

Al Bustan Centre and Residence, a popular hotel-apartment among tourists and businessmen in the heart of Dubai, is set to highlight the completion of its $4 million renovation at Arabian Travel Market, the largest travel and tourism exhibition in the Middle East.

The event, under the umbrella of the Dubai Tourism and Commerce Marketing, will run from May 4 to 7 at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre.

The renovation of all its 640 guest rooms and facilities which started early last year was aimed at providing guests a comfortable and memorable stay and also to remain competitive in the market especially with the rise of new properties and brands to the city, said a statement.

Moussa El Hayek, chief operations officer, said: “The completed renovation during the last quarter of 2014 has definitely moved our property to a new level of hospitality enhancing our product in the market.

“The reconstruction of the facilities will significantly contribute in securing more market shares from existing ones such as GCC, Far East, East Europe and China.”

Special summer promotions have been launched for these countries, which are the property’s major feeder markets, said the statement.

Despite the major decline of tourists from Russia and CIS countries during the first quarter of the year, Al Bustan managed to attain 80 per cent occupancy by adapting suitable strategies that include tapping new upcoming markets.

“We have been always engaged in planning and introducing new ventures and versatile services for our guests,” El Hayek added. - TradeArabia News Service
