Holiday Inn Resort Dead Sea, a luxury property in Jordan, has become one of the first hotels in Asia, Middle East & Africa to complete the top level of InterContinental Hotels Group’s (IHG) Green Engage, the hotel’s environmentally-related programme.

The process of completing all four levels of the Green Engage programme was spearheaded by the chief of engineering Ayman Al Kurdi, led the designated Green Engage committee to make sure that all requirements were completed successfully and efficiently.

“This is a great achievement that we are all proud of”, said Bassam Abu Hasan, hotel manager of Holiday Inn Resort Dead Sea. “Conserving and saving the environment is one of our most important objectives at IHG and at Holiday Inn Resort Dead Sea. We are fully aware that guests now are not only looking for a luxurious and comfortable stay, but also one that is environmentally-friendly.
