Golden Sands sees Scandinavian region as potential market
DUBAI, March 22, 2015
Golden Sands Hotel Apartments (GHSA), a premier serviced apartment complex in Dubai, UAE, recently took part in the five-day ITB Berlin targeting the Scandinavian region as a new market.
The team, headed by Mohammed Khoori, general manager; and Nives Deininger, director of sales, were exceptionally positive on the turnout of this year’s gathering despite the declining Euro which has also impacted the bookings in Dubai.
Deininger said: “We had good quality appointments with our key partners, the shared insights and feedbacks were very helpful in developing further business innovations in the industry. We have built strong ties among our existing partners and developed relationships with new ones. We met some new potential partners and saw some new interest from the Scandinavian region.”
“I am very proud to say that Golden Sands Hotel Apartments is still a well-known brand in Europe and we will continue on working hard to keep our share of business within this region. We will remain competitive to keep attracting guests from one of our key markets,” Khoori said.
The team also announced the upcoming refurbishment of Golden Sands 3 to keep up with the trends and demands of today’s travellers especially with the addition of new hotel rooms in the city.
Golden Sands Hotel Apartment participates annually in ITB, a key travel trade exhibition in Europe.
“This is a great avenue not only to encourage and keep the German market as one of Dubai’s leading contributors to leisure and business tourism, but also to discuss market situations and update with the latest trends in travel and hospitality industry that will help in generating effective strategies,” Deininger said.
Conveniently located in the heart of Dubai, GHSA offers more than 600 accommodation units in configuration of studios, two-room studios, executive suites, as well as one-, two-, and three-Bedroom apartments to cater to individuals, families, or large groups travelling to Dubai for business, leisure, or both. – TradeArabia News Service
