Turkish Airlines to fly to Montreal

Jeddah, June 10, 2014

Turkish Airlines has added flights to Montreal, its second destination in Canada and 10th in the Americas.

The Montreal flights will be operated three times a week on Tuesdays, Fridays and Sundays in both directions, said a statement.

For the first six months of operations to new destinations, the airlines is offering Miles&Smiles members with a 25 per cent reduction in the miles needed to redeem either award tickets or upgrades, it said.

Montreal, the largest city of Quebec, is the second largest French-speaking settlement after Paris and is located on the Island of Montreal where Ottawa and Saint Lawrence rivers merge.

It is a vibrant centre where cultrual as well as commercial activities take place intensively. The ‘Underground City Pedestrian Network,’ which lies beneath the city expanding in all four directions, is used by 500,000 people on average every day.

The network connects boutiques, grand hotels, restaurants, universities, workplaces and several attraction centres of the city.

The city appeals to people of all ages and tastes with its beach, museums, public gardens, entertainment areas, walking and cycling trails, open-air galleries, and its different architectural texture. - TradeArabia News Service
