Modhesh Friends’ Club, the summer club for children has concluded after providing a stimulating atmosphere over six weeks.

Over the past weeks the club imparted social, spiritual and personal skills to children.

Cultural programmes highlighted the rich culture of UAE and gave an opportunity for children to learn traditional crafts, customs, and traditions. Etiquette from table manners to communicating with parents were taught to children.

Children also picked up skills such as arts and crafts, henna designing, sports including tennis, basketball, volleyball and also taekwondo. The children also had many opportunities to showcase their skills to parents and visitors of Modhesh World.

Cooking lessons also featured on the programme.

The Beit Al Khair Society presented a lecture for the children focusing on the importance of money and how to use and save money. To encourage children to save for themselves and to assist others monetarily, they were each given a piggy bank.-TradeArabia News Service
