Etihad, Travelport in content agreement

Abu Dhabi, March 15, 2010

Etihad Airways said it has signed a five-year full content agreement with Travelport to provide travel agents connected to Galileo and Worldspan worldwide with access to all of the airline’s published inventory of flights and fares.

Travelport is one of the world's largest travel conglomerates offering broad based business services to companies operating in the global travel industry. It is a leading provider of global distribution system (GDS) to travel agents.

Wayne Pearce, Etihad Airways’ chief of strategy and planning said: 'As a rapidly-expanding airline, we are delighted to have reached a cost-effective distribution agreement with Travelport that will see all our published flight inventory and fares made available to its extensive network of travel agency users worldwide.'
