DUBAI, October 18, 2015
Securifi, a leader in wireless routers, is unveiling one of the world’s fastest routers at Gitex Technology Week 2015 opening today (October 18) in Dubai, UAE.
The major IT exhibition will run until October 22 at Dubai World Trade Centre.
Technical experts from the company will hold demonstrations for the router Almond+ and share their global successes with customers and partners at the region’s largest technology event. The company is in talks with potential partners from across the Middle East and Africa region and is looking to firm up these talks at Gitex.
“We introduced the world’s first touchscreen wireless routers under the brand name Almond in 2012 and today it is the number 1 rated wireless router on Amazon.com with users giving it a 4.5-star rating,” said Mohammad Meraj Hoda, president, World Wide Sales & Development, Securifi.
“Our unique technology differentiator as a Router + Smart Home Hub has been widely accepted by the home and small business segment where our customers can not only enjoy an amazing wireless experience but also define the Security and Automation with just a touch of the screen. At Gitex Technology Week 2015, we are unveiling the Almond+, our most innovative product to date, which is also one of the world’s fastest routers.”
Almond+, one of the fastest routers (1,167Mbps) on the planet is also a highly capable smart home hub integrated with Zigbee and Z-Wave technologies for the ultimate in home automation and security. With the emergence of always-connected Smartphones and the App market, Almond+ features both an iOS and an Android App that allows users to access and control the device from anywhere.
“Securifi Almond products will be made available via various retail, systems integrator as well the broader channels in UAE, Oman, Bahrain, Kuwait, Saudi and Qatar market by the end of this October. Due to its unique differentiation, Securifi partners have a unique non-competitive technology in this space. It will also help the partners increase total addressable market due to attach rate from the sales from peripheral devices,” Hoda added.
For those that are interested in trying out home automation and security, but are on a slightly tighter budget, Securifi is also launching the Almond 2015, Hoda noted.
This is an updated version of the wildly popular original Almond router which offers a boost in performance, improved 802.11n Wi-Fi, ZigBee and a USB port for future Z-Wave support via a USB dongle. It’ll offer a similar overall feature set to the Almond+, but for a much more affordable price. – TradeArabia News Service
