Microsoft launches new Lumia device in Bahrain

MANAMA, April 14, 2015

Microsoft has launched the Lumia 640 XL - the latest device to join the Lumia portfolio - in Bahrain.

It will offer more personal computing and increased productivity through integrated Microsoft Office experiences, OneDrive storage and fast 3G connectivity, said a statement.

The Lumia 640 XL will upgrade to and benefit from Windows 10 as it becomes available later this year, it said.

The consumers purchasing the device will be entitled to a one-year subscription to Office 365 Personal, which includes the latest Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and OneNote) and 1TB of OneDrive storage, both worth BD 25 ($65).

The Office 365 will ensure files are always up-to-date, enabling users to access them anywhere, anytime, on the go and across three different devices.

The smartphone will also come bundled with several app offers. Users will get two months free and unlimited access to movies and TV series on Icflix as well as Box TV app, BD 10 off on the first ride booked through the Uber app and one month free premium membership on Gaana mobile app.

The Lumia 640 XL will be available in 3G Dual SIM in matte cyan, orange and black, as well as both glossy and matte white. - TradeArabia News Service
