Jacky’s wins Superbrand award

Jacky’s Electronics, a UAE-based multi-brand electronics retailer, has won the Superbrand status for the ninth consecutive year since 2004.
The company, which is currently celebrating its 26-year long presence in the emirates, was one of the first consumer electronics retailers to be recognised by the UAE Superbrands Council, said a statement.
Ashish Panjabi, COO of Jacky’s, presented and discussed the type of taglines that many brands adopt and their impact to the companies, during the award ceremony.
He also highlighted that companies should use taglines that genuinely represent the brand and that will allow customers to relate to.
Jacky’s is one of a select number of brands in the UAE from more than 800 short-listed companies to receive the award. The Superbrands Awards is considered as the ‘Oscars of Branding’ worldwide, the statement added. - TradeArabia News Service
