VeriFone, the global leader in secure electronic payment solutions, showcased a wide range of payments systems at an annual cards conference and exhibition in Dubai.

The two-day Cards Middle East ended yesterday (May 18) at Al Bustan Rotana Hotel.

VeriFone displayed four products in the next generation in its VX range, with market-leading enhancements including integrated contactless and end-to-end encryption.

Also on display was the market leading contactless reader, the QX 1000.

The QX 1000 is a cost effective and stand alone reader that supports all major contactless payment schemes, including those initiated from mobile phones using the emerging Near Field Communications (NFC).

VeriFone contactless solutions can be easily connected to a stand-alone payment device of integrated POS system to provide contactless acceptance capability, quickly and easily, a statement said.

VeriFone also displayed the MX 870 and MX 880, customer-facing multi-function touchscreen products featuring fast processing speeds and large memory. – TradeArabia News Service
