Sharjah City Centre, developed and managed by Majid Al Futtaim Properties, presented retailer awards in twelve different categories at its recent annual general tenants meeting.

Awards were made based on sales performance, operational compliance and standards of customer service at the mall over the last year at the event held at the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

“The last 12 months have been encouraging with footfall increasing compared to the level of the previous year,” said Anna Mansour, mall manager of Sharjah City Centre.

“We depend on our retailers to maintain the high standards of Sharjah City Centre and I’m proud to say that, once again, our retailers have surpassed our expectations," Mansour added.

Fashion brand New Look was named ‘best retailer of the year’ and ‘best fashion store’ while BHS was named ‘best anchor store’ of the year and Jacky’s Electronics was awarded for ‘best electronics & telephone accessories store’.

A special award was presented to Al Jaber Opticals for demonstrating the ‘best team spirit’ – in addition to an award for the ‘best optical, accessories and service store’.

Other categories included best health, wellness & perfume store, best children fashion store, best restaurant/café/food outlet, best footwear & sports store, best jewellery & watches store and best entertainment, hobby & books & gifts store. – TradeArabia News Service
