Epson launches new monochrome laser printer
Dubai, December 17, 2009
Epson, an imaging and innovation leader, has launched its newest personal business monochrome laser printer, the Epson AcuLaser M1200.
The compact desktop laser printer is capable of A4 black and white print speeds of up to 20 pages per minute (ppm) and professional print quality resolutions of up to 600 dpi (dots per inch).
The Epson AcuLaser M1200 comes with USB and parallel interfaces as standard, ensuring that connection to a computer for use as a local printer is simple.
Compatible with all common operating systems, including Windows and Mac, and thanks to pre-installed consumables, the AcuLaser M1200 is also easy to set up and ready to use straight from the box, said a statement.
With one of the best duty cycles on the personal printer market today, the Epson AcuLaser M1200 can print up to 15,000 pages per month. It also comes with a multi-purpose 150-sheet paper tray, enabling quick switching between paper type and size.
Epson’s free toner cartridge collection service collects used Epson toner cartridges in a safe and environmentally friendly way. Thanks to the return and recycle incentive programme, the returnable toner cartridges are sold to customers at a lower price, on the agreement that the empty cartridges will be returned via the toner cartridge collection service.
“The Epson AcuLaser M1200 is the ideal solution for the essential printing needs of small and home office users, especially in the Middle East market which has a high percentage of SMBs,” said Khalil El-Dalu, general manager, Epson Middle East.
“Also, the low ongoing cost of usage and choice of toner sizes make the printer a smart and flexible solution for any corporate home user,’ he added. – TradeArabia News Service
