Oneic wins $2.2m Oman substation contract

MUSCAT, October 17, 2016

Oman National Engineering Investment Company (Oneic) said it has won contracts worth RO856,108 ($2.2 million) from Mazoon Electricity Company for construction of incoming feeders and 11 outgoing feeders for the new Samad primary sub-station in Al Shaqiya North Governorate.

Oneic is a leading utility and engineering services provider and an investment company in Oman.

Mazoon is a closed Omani joint stock company primarily undertaking regulated distribution and supply of electricity in Dhakliya, Sharqiya and South Al Batinah regions of the sultanate under a licence issued by the Authority for Electricity Regulation, Oman.
