AlMansoori Specialized Engineering team at Zadco

Zadco hosts AlMansoori Technology Day

ABU DHABI, February 9, 2015

Zakum Development Company (Zadco) hosted AlMansoori Specialized Engineering for a day that allowed AlMansoori to showcase their latest technologies and capabilities across a range of oilfield services, while creating an opportunity to engage with Zadco professional engineers.
 
Zadco, an Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (Adnoc) subsidiary, has a strategic target to increase the production rate from the Upper Zakum reservoir, the fourth largest oilfield in the world, from 550 thousand to 750 thousand barrels of oil per day. In their efforts to fulfill their mandate of achieving sustainable, increased production, AlMansoori and their partners were invited to showcase their latest technological advances in services and solutions.
 
John Jordan, Zadco vice president of drilling, expressed gratitude for AlMansoori’s effective resource utilisation while maintaining the highest levels of HSE and presented Ibrahim AlAlawi, deputy CEO AlMansoori, with a crystal plaque to mark the occasion.
 
AlMansoori exhibited a select range of specialised services including oil and gas production and exploration well testing, multiphase systems, integrated well services, underbalanced drilling technology, process engineering and design, drill stem testing, sand management systems, and underbalanced and managed pressure drilling systems. In addition to a full exhibition of services, AlMansoori engineers conducted a variety of technical presentations to an audience of Zadco employees which included topics such as ‘coiled tubing operations’, ‘drilling optimisation tools’, ‘ultiphase meter’ and ‘use of tracers for improving EOR operations’.
 
Nabil AlAlawi, AlMansoori founder and CEO, spoke of his company’s abiding commitment to provide services to Zadco since its establishment over 37 years ago, articulating the historical partnership between the two companies. It was also noted with great pride, that AlMansoori had operated for four years without a single lost of time incident, maintaining the highest standards of operational integrity and cost effectiveness.
