L&T showcases energy efficient solutions in Dubai

L&T Electrical and Automation, has showcased medium and low voltage products, systems and solutions in the electrical and automation space at the three-day Middle East Electricity exhibition in Dubai.
The energy efficient and safe solutions are aimed at firms that strive for sustainable growth with a lower carbon print in industries, buildings and infrastructure sectors, said a statement.
SC Bhargava, senior vice president and head, said: “We are focused on expanding our reach in the Middle East region and playing a partner’s role in its modernisation and continuous growth. Our products and solutions are designed and developed to meet the urgent and stringent requirements of energy efficiency, space management, human protection and asset safety.”
“Our international business includes the 100 per cent owned LTEAFZE in Jebel Ali, providing automation and telecom solutions and the joint venture with the Kanoo Group in Saudi Arabia for low and medium voltage electrical systems,” he added.
The solutions on display include its medium voltage gas and air insulated switchgear with high degree of safety, advanced technical reliability, compact space requirements, low maintenance costs and instinctive user management; and low voltage T-Era range of switchgear and motor control centres, which offer cost-effectiveness, compactness, reliability and safety.
Other products being showcased include an extensive range of control metering protection relays, the Comp series, which combines conventional and advanced protection functions, annunciation, metering, monitoring and communication into one, easy-to-configure module.
The display also features integrated protection and control system (IPCS) that combines the efficiency of integration, control, protection and monitoring into one system for substation automation, Scada solutions for different industry verticals like oil and gas, steel, cement, electrical and water utilities as well as data centres and competencies.
